Frequently Asked Questions

Our most common questions are below. If you don't see what you are looking for, send us an e-mail. We love answering questions so please ask away!

Printing

What types of printing do you offer?

We currently offer four types of printing. Digital, Offset, Thermography, and Screen Printing. Digital printing is the most economical, and is capable of printing an unlimited number of colors. Offset, Thermography, and Screen printing are more labor intensive and a bit more expensive. Detailed information regarding each type of printing is available- just ask!

Can I print my invitations myself?

We do occasionally work with brides who want to DIY their invitations. We charge a flat design rate ranging from $25-$50 per piece and send you print ready PDF files for you to print as many times as needed anywhere that you choose.

Payment

How do I pay for my order?

We accept payment via PayPal. Personal checks are accepted from local (Minnesota/Wisconsin) clients.

What is your payment schedule?

We require a 50% deposit prior to printing. The balance is due before we ship, or when you pick up your invitations if you are local.

Paper Options

What is your 'house paper'?

Our house paper for wedding invitations is an ultra thick 110# coverstock in white or off-white.

Do you have any other options?

Yes, we offer a couple upgrade options: 100% cotton (we love this!) and a shimmer stock in several shades. We can also print on colored stock in various shades. Ask for details.

Design Process

How long does it take to design custom invitations?

Just as each invitation we design is different, each process is different as well. Some designs take a week or two (for those of you that know what you want and/or love the first round of mock ups!) and some take a month or more. When you first contact us, we will determine a timeline for design and production. We strongly suggest contacting us 2+ months before you plan to send out your invitations. The earlier the better!

Does it cost extra to make changes?

We strongly believe in making changes until our clients are in love with their invitations. We typically do not charge for revisions, but reserve the right to limit excessive requests. We will give you a heads up if you are getting close to that point!

Shipping

How will I receive my invitations?

Out of town invitations are carefully packaged and shipped via USPS Priority Mail with a shipping confirmation. If you prefer we ship using a different method, just let us know. In town guests may pick up their invitations.
